[Casual Game] Gaia
| | The main challenges in this project are the successful creation of a really entertaining game to play, from the point of view of concept and mechanics, and the creation of a visually appealing game that can match other same genre games. The system is a C++ application that integrates a few sub-modules. The user interface is developed using Direct3D to display the graphics accompanied by some XML files for graphics definitions. The user will be able to play a fast paced and fun casual game, whether he/she is at work during a break, at home or on the road. The game will feature an instant mode where the user can jump straight into the action and a campaign mode when the user will follow Gaia (Mother Earth) around the world in a journey of discovery and adventure, and help her deal with problems like drought and pollution. |
