ANIS, Vienna’s Chamber of Commerce and the Office for Promoting Commercial and Economic Activities organized an economic mission in Vienna in which providers of IT services from Romania had the chance to meet with Austrian companies interested in establishing business relationships with them.
The mission took place on June 4th and 5th 2014 and provided Fortech’s CEO with an excellent opportunity to take the pulse of the Austrian market and to visit some of our current customers. While the discussions with prospective customers went really well, they also revealed that Austrian companies, despite being interested in taking advantage of our IT expertise, perceive new outsourcing relationships with Romanian firms as highly risky. This concern only lasted until our prospective customers learned about the level of professionalism at Fortech; some of them ended up setting up visits at the Fortech headquarters in Cluj-Napoca, where they will meet with our management and teams.
In line with our habit to pay regular visits to our customers, Mr. Vaduva met with all of our customers from the Vienna region and learned they are really happy with the way their partnerships with Fortech go. Naturally, the parties also touched issues that need to be addressed to keep the cooperation along the current line.
All in all, the mission helped us better understand the Austrian market, gave us the chance to establish several promising relationships and provided us with an excellent opportunity to consolidate our partnerships with existing customers.
