Role Summary

Fortech is looking to add two experienced Front-End Developers to its development team in Cluj.

The project consists of implementing a multi-functional interface for an electric bike (eBike). Among the features of the gadget are: high quality design, large color display, ability to download and install new applications, security, automated system for updates check, communication with mobile devices, synchronization with the online.

In this role you will be involved in developing the UI for an embedded device, based on client’s requirements.

You will be part of our team in Cluj and will connect with software engineers and leaders from our client in Germany.

Your Responsibilities

  • Analysis and design
  • New features development
  • Code refactoring
  • Continuous integration
  • Code reviews
  • Maintenance of legacy code

Your Competencies

  • Strong Experience with HTML5, CSS3/MediaQuery, JavaScript
  • Solid understanding of OOP
  • Knowledge of continuous integration practices
  • Good command of English
  • Experienced in Angular is a plus
  • C/C++ know-how or embedded programming experience is a plus
  • Linux work experience is a plus
  • GIT work experience is a plus
