Current Status

The past years have been successful. Among the achievements of 2008, our company registered the success of our end-user application releases, the Vendor award for exceptional project contribution received by our QA department, the 2nd internship session, the involvement in the Open Source local movement. During 2009 we concentrated our efforts on technical workshops, soft skills trainings and knowledge improvement of our people, to better respond to our long term partners. We wanted to increase the range of assimilated technologies in order to provide a wider variety of IT services.

This year we plan to concentrate all our effort on organization development - extending the business relationships we have with our current partners by identifying new opportunities, gaining new customers, increasing the team. The dynamism of the software outsourcing market demands strong, technical, flexible and solution-oriented companies. At its current status, Fortech is ready to respond to this challenge.

 

Recent Awards and Certifications

The past year we underwent an evaluation process followed by a renewal of the certification for the quality management system in Fortech (ISO 9001:2008).

Also, in 2008 Fortech's IT department has succesfully passed an External Audit on IT Security Policies.


IT Fair Visibility

It is worth to mention our visibility at 2010 IT Fairs. We participated and presented our services, at CeBIT Fair in Hannover - March 2010, and we plan to participate in other important internationals fairs. To find out when and where you can meet us, please follow our website's news section.


Fortech Team

This year Fortech has reached 190 people and the expanding process still continues. Our company dedicates an important amount of resources to constantly search, find and integrate new competent people. This way we ensure a fresh approach and we continue to cultivate the spirit of performance that Fortech developed since the very beginning.

The team is the main asset of Fortech and the company management attaches high importance to its genuine voice. Since the foundation we put our minds together to train the new recruits and to encourage them in their career path. Fortech people present themselves as passionate, determined, focused, with the ability to be:

  • technical minds: our software developers have the ability to tailor-match any kind of input that may come from our clients when starting a project. The technical expertise is accentuated by a deep understanding of the core business processes and the experience gained in various industries: Automotive, Telecommunication (mobile and WiFi), Finance, Manufacturing, Retail, Marketing, IT Security.
  • team leaders: it takes not only technical skills, but also coaching abilities and strong communication skills to be defined as a team leader - our level of expectancy is high and so is their training to this level.
  • project managers: they have developed abilities of analysis and decision making, excellent organizational skills, entrepreneurial and team communication skills. Our experienced project managers are able to create realistic plans for software development, using effective estimation of size and effort, and to execute the plan with attention to productivity and quality.
