“Every child should have computer access” Campaign
This campaign was launched by Fortech and by Free Software Group in collaboration with FRCCF (Romanian Foundation for Children, Community and Family) in order to support the acquisition of hardware for the underprivileged children in FRCCF’s community centers. Donations included both money and supplies provided by Fortech team members - computers, printers, clothes, toys. Furthermore, Fortech also sustained FRCCF’s initiative in breaking the Guinness Book record on asphalt drawings. Themed ‘Smile of a Child’, the event was held on the 1st of June (the International Children's Day) and several Fortech team members volunteered to supervise and help the children with their drawings. Thinking about the community, Fortech took up actions of financing a children’s house, the construction of an elderly home, and schools in participating in various IT contests. | | The Fortech team initiated a recycling campaign process as part of the overall determination to make a difference in environmental problems and business processes. So far, the team recycles paper and batteries. In 2007, Fortech sponsored the local volleyball men’s team “U” Cluj in all their competitions. Local Software Association Sponsorship
