Preliminary Matching
The first step in our selection process is a preliminary matching phase consisting of an HR Interview.
Our recruiters will schedule a call or a face-to-face meeting with you. The purpose of this discussion is to get to know each other, talk about available opportunities, and align expectations. We will also offer you more information about Fortech: the organization, our core processes, team culture, and benefits, among others.
Technical Assessment
The technical competencies of each candidate are evaluated by our tech board, by means of a technical interview (along with a technical exam for some positions) in order to establish the level of know-how, which will guide the next steps in the selection process.
For some positions, candidates may be requested to complete a standardized online test aimed to check the knowledge in terms of specific technology and/or programming concepts.
Project Matching
For some positions, a project matching phase may be necessary. This implies a deeper look into the particularities of the project we are recruiting for, and it may even include an encounter with the team in Fortech and/or the client team.
Collaboration Proposal
If at this point there is a match and interest from both parties, then the next step is to discuss the terms of our collaboration. You will have a final interview with one of our Hiring Managers and you will receive a collaboration offer.
Background Check
An integrated part of the hiring process includes a background check. It consists of validating information about studies and professional experience – reference check.
For some positions, our HR team may perform a more detailed background check, outsourcing it to a specialized company.
Hiring and Onboarding
In the hiring process, there is an onboarding phase through which you get acquainted with the company, our internal processes, and the team and project where you will activate. In some cases, travel to the client’s site for knowledge transfer may be involved.
Typically, the first three months are considered an accommodation period and are essentially a more enlarged phase of the matching assessment.
Engagement Models
On-Site/ Hybrid
You can join our team at one of our “A” class offices from our delivery centers, all with modern infrastructure and facilities. By working on-site, you will have the opportunity to directly interact with your colleagues and engage in team activities. Pending your project’s setup, you can choose to work on-site daily or a couple of days per week.
Employee
Joining our team as a full-time or part-time employee, you will have access to our full package of perks and benefits, such as paid vacation days increasing with seniority and health subscription at a private clinic.
Remote
Some of our projects offer the possibility to choose a fully remote collaboration with a flexible working schedule. You can work from home or anywhere you desire while keeping close communication with your colleagues via Microsoft Teams or other agreed collaboration tools. Your activity will be performed under a safe VPN connection.
Freelancer
A freelancing approach is also an option. This is an entrepreneurship mindset and model, based on Time & Material or Fixed Price engagements. You have the possibility to choose work locations – remote and/or our offices.
