Fortech, Among the Fastest-Growing Private IT Companies in Europe

Romania ranks 5th in the top of the most dynamic 5000 European companies, realized by the American publication Inc. in 2016. With a number of 333 companies, Romania occupies a top spot immediately after mature markets such as Sweden, Great Britain, France and Spain.

According to the publication, 24 out of those 333 Romanian companies featured in the top are IT Services providers and half of them are involved only in the software side. The business players included in the top span business areas from IT Services to telecommunications, retail, media, logistics and publicity. They also come from cities across the entire Europe.

“We are glad to be nominated among the 20 fastest-growing privately-held Romanian companies mentioned in the Inc.5000 list” said Călin Văduva, Fortech’s CEO. “This reflects our collaborative effort and commitment to provide our customers with qualitative technology services, in a fierce business climate. The technology space is extremely dynamic, with software having the greatest impact and proliferation across industries. To stay relevant in such context, we needed to find a balance between an accelerated hiring activity, a focus on developing fresh competencies and mature business processes, while providing qualitative and cost-effective solutions for customers. It is inspiring to have our efforts recognized.”

The main selection criteria is the sustained growth, reflected by the revenue growth percentage over a four-year period. In addition, eligible companies should be privately owned and independent, not subsidiaries or divisions of bigger companies. Finally, the capacity to hire and build teams remains an essential qualification criteria.
