Fortech Receives Deloitte Best Managed Companies 2022 Recognition

- Fortech has received the Deloitte “Best Managed Companies” recognition for its excellence in management assessed against international best practices.
- Over 20 companies from Romania joined the program that aims to build a global ecosystem of exceptional private businesses, and only nine were distinguished with the “Best Managed Companies” certification.
- In numerous countries where Deloitte organizes the Best Managed Companies program, a third of the companies that enter the phase of the workshops receive the certification.
Fortech received the Deloitte “Best Managed Companies” in Romania recognition in the first edition of the program organized in Romania. With almost 30 years of tradition, the Best Managed Companies program recognizes private companies from around the world that transform the global ecosystem by demonstrating best practices in terms of strategy, culture and engagement, innovation and resources, governance and financials.
Over 20 companies with revenues between 10 and 75 million euros, Romanian-headquartered or Romanian-owned and managed, joined the first edition of the program.
As a 100% Romanian-owned private company with sustained growth, both in number of professionals, delivery centers, and turnover, Fortech joined the inaugural edition of the program in Romania. Throughout the years, the engineering hub evolved in accordance with the emerging technology trends and the global IT market demands dictated by international big tech players.
Each company underwent a rigorous and independent process that evaluated the way the business is organized and run compared to international best practices, according to the Deloitte global technology. The expert independent jury selected the companies whose organizational and managerial practices align to the Best Managed Companies standard.
As a company built from a handful of engineers to a 1100+ people team, we are honored to be certified as a “Best Managed Company”. This designation recognizes the efforts of our entire organization, and the diagnosis of our business, focused on strategic and operational issues, the entire process took us through is invaluable.
To be evaluated based on a global framework, applied to the world’s leading companies, and to receive the “Best Managed Companies” acknowledgment shows that Fortech is aligned with the highest international standards. The companies that reached the final stage of the program participated in the first edition of the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Gala in Romania. The event not only honored performance but encouraged its attendees to engage with the jury, representatives of the local business environment, and other leaders to foster the exchange of ideas and advice, all to create an ecosystem of exceptional private businesses.
