Mid QA Automation Engineer

We are looking to add a Mid QA Automation Engineer to our team in Cluj-Napoca.

You will be part of a well-organized environment, where you have the chance to participate throughout the complete software development lifecycle, including the design and architectural decisions, and to focus on software quality through peer reviews, refactoring, continuous integration, and deployment.

You will be part of our team in Cluj-Napoca and will connect with software engineers and leaders from our client in Germany.

Your Responsibilities

Analyze the requirements for test automation
Take initiative to clarify and discuss with stakeholders what needs to be automated
Design and implement the QA Automation frameworks
Implement unit level tests
Implement service level integration tests
Perform high-quality testing activities for complex applications
Create, execute, maintain, review, document and improve automated tests, tools and scripts
Participate in short to long-term project plans and strategies
Implement coded performance and load tests – nice to have

Your Competencies

Basic programming knowledge
Basic SQL and Database knowledge
OOP knowledge
Experience working with UFT, ALM
Expertise in software testing or development of applications
Software architectures and concepts understanding
Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
Organized, detail-oriented person with good interpersonal skills
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently, or as part of a team
Good command of English
ISTQB certification is a plus

A system, in which relevant information from a sales company and the financial services company regarding leasing/buy-back contracts is combined so that an integrated view can be generated. The project scope can be divided into the following parts: consulting (validation and verification of business requirements, functional specification, system design) and application development (implementation, system and integration test).
