Mid React Developer

We are looking to add an experienced React Developer to our team in Cluj-Napoca.

The product you will work on is a series of UI libraries based on an app development framework built atop React. Each of the libraries provides a solid base for creating applications designed for different devices (Automotive, Robotics, TV, and more).

You will be involved in implementation, testing, and deployment. It will be a dynamic environment, where you have the chance to participate throughout the complete software development lifecycle, with a focus on software quality through peer reviews, refactoring, continuous integration, and deployment.

You will be part of our team in Cluj-Napoca, which consists of 4 developers who work closely with the client’s team, which has about 10 people.

Your Responsibilities

Analyze and implement requirements
Participate in code implementation, documentation, code reviews, and testing
Perform maintenance activities (change requests, refactoring, defect fixing)
Maintain customer relationship and satisfaction

Your Competencies

Working experience with React & Redux
Experience with CSS Modules
Focus on clean code and following established best practices
Experience with testing frameworks/tool in JavaScript: Jest, Mocha, Jasmine
Good understanding of the web platform and the Client-Server Architecture
A keen eye for potential performance issues
Written and spoken English is a must
Passionate about programming and computer science in general

THE PROJECT

The project is a complete platform for OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer), powering car connectivity, control and multimedia services. The infrastructure connects the cars with external content providers and also monitor internal systems and sensors. The platform is actively contributing to turning the connected vehicle into an intelligent vehicle. You will be involved in enhancing and extending the in-vehicle operating system by touching an array of apps of different functionalities.
