Mid-Senior .NET Software Developer

We are looking to add a Mid/Senior .NET Developer to our team in Cluj-Napoca.

In this role, you will join a dynamic environment, where you’ll have the chance to participate in the complete software development lifecycle.

We’ll give you the chance to apply your knowledge and quickly gain more familiarity with a range of exciting technologies including ASP.NET Core, MongoDB, Azure Cloud, Terraform.

You will be part of our .NET team in Cluj-Napoca and will connect with software engineers and leaders from our client in the UK.

Your Responsibilities

Offer creative design solutions
Perform development of new features following requirements and coding standards
Break down large-scale projects into smaller components
Coordinate the deliverables and project-specific activities (release activities, code review, code refactoring, continuous delivery)
Offer mentoring, coaching, and technical support for other team members
Evaluate technical alternatives and feasibility; provide input for building detailed functional/technical design documents that offer the best solution to the problem
Maintain customer relationship and satisfaction

Your Competencies

Experience managing all phases of a project and software development lifecycles
3+ years of hands-on software development experience in the .NET Web environment (.NET Core)
Tech Stack: ASP .NET Core, MongoDB, Azure Cloud, Terraform
Database knowledge (SQL, NoSQL)
Experience OOP, SOLID, design patterns, clean code, architectural patterns, automated testing, infrastructure as code
Experience and knowledge in a high-loaded distributed system in aspects such as resilience, high-availability, scalability, data consistency
Experience with CI/CD
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Focused on code quality and high development standards
Problem-solving skills
Proficient communicator with advanced English skills
Focused on continuous self-development

THE PROJECT

A program aimed to prepare the client for new technological and operational challenges. One project is intended to build a centralized DB to be used in all of our clients’ systems. This will be a MongoDB. We will need to build an API to connect to this new DB and send the information where is needed.

Since the API will be used extensively in all of our clients’ systems, considerations like security and performance are critical.
