Mid-Senior Project Manager

We are looking to add a seasoned Agile Project Manager, with at least 3 years of experience in managing Software Development projects.

We need you to help us by taking over some of our projects. You will partake in the processes of Agile software development while making sure all stakeholders are well informed and client expectations are met. You will work closely with the client’s Product Owners or Product Managers and help the teams achieve the project goals.

We are looking for a problem solver, an adaptable person who responds fast to change and is also able to lead a team to the implementation of a change.

Your Responsibilities

Develop and manage direct relationships with key stakeholders within and outside of Fortech, while assisting the project team to produce the necessary project deliverables
Act as a servant leader for the project team, nurturing team engagement and a healthy project ecosystem
Oversee activity planning and sequencing. Plan and manage software releases
Resolve team’s blockers and monitor the overall velocity and project cadence
Facilitate necessary ceremonies/events (scrum of scrums planning/ stand up, release planning)
Elaborate project timelines/Gantt charts, product roadmaps
Manage risks, anticipating and addressing issues in a timely manner
Perform progress monitoring and report progress on a regular basis to the appropriate stakeholders
Develop and maintain project management specific documentation

Your Competencies

You should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related areas.
Proven experience with software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall) and software development lifecycle of at least 3 years
Hands-on experience with project management tools (at least two of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Atlassian Suite, Azure DevOps) is also necessary. We also expect you to have great presentation and report-writing skills
Being organized, self-driven, with the ability to prioritize and a can-do attitude are “Must have” soft skills for a project manager in our organization. Besides these, excellent communication skills (active listening, clear conveying of messages, great command of English) and empathy will contribute to your mediating and trust building skills
Since you will work with many different people, you will need outstanding interpersonal skills for guiding, coordinating, motivating, evaluating and giving feedback to the team
You will be in direct contact with our clients, therefore your stakeholder management skills will be key to your success

THE PROJECT

A desktop application that allows the creation of digital simulations for production lines. Starting at the delivery of materials to the factory and ending with the finished product.

The application allows real-time updates for changes in used equipment schedules or workforce. It is a powerful 3D visualization component for placement and transport of materials.
