Mid and Senior Ruby Developers

We are looking to add dedicated Ruby Developers to our team.

In this role, you will be part of a team that develops a platform for asset management, facilitating community interaction, services, and maintenance for all buildings in a residential area.

This will be a dynamic environment, where you have the chance to participate throughout the complete software development lifecycle and to focus on software quality through peer reviews, refactoring, continuous integration, and deployment.

You will be part of our project team and will connect with software engineers and leaders from our client.

Your Responsibilities

Ability to deliver high-quality code that helps improve tenants’ experience
Bring quality input into the projects by ensuring your code is tested, documented, and takes into consideration performance, security and accessibility aspects when needed
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Participate in the infrastructure setup and deployment activities
Get involved in projects research and initiatives, aimed at expanding the know-how of the team
We encourage you to participate in the technical and architectural decisions of the projects you are part of
Provide help and support for other team members when needed, as you will get the same in return

Your Competencies

Proficiency with Ruby (1+ year of experience preferred)
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
Passionate about writing clean code and well-designed applications
Very good attention to details – both technical wise and specifications wise
Open to new ideas and feedback
Good command of English (intermediate-advanced)
Fast Learner – you can easily adapt to new technologies
Nice to have: database knowledge (NoSQL); good experience with serverless patterns using AWS Lambda and API Gateway; experience writing automated tests for the implemented features (unit tests/integrations tests/acceptance tests); experience with EC2, CloudFront, ALB/WAF, Route53, Kinesis, SQS, CloudFormation, Beanstalk, VPC, IAM
