Senior Java Tech Lead

We are looking to add a Senior Java Tech Lead to our team for an automotive industry application.

In this role, you will get the chance to work with the latest Java technologies and take on team/tech leading responsibilities.

This will be a dynamic environment, where you will have the chance to participate throughout the complete software development lifecycle, including the design and architectural decisions, and to focus on software quality through peer reviews, refactoring, continuous integration, and deployment.

You will be part of our Java team in Cluj Napoca and will connect with software engineers and leaders from our client in Germany.

Your Responsibilities

Make design and architecture related decisions
Handle both new feature requests and maintenance tasks in a timely manner
Provide code refactoring
Contribute to continuous integration and deploy activities
Promote coding guidelines and other best practices, including process improvements
Perform code reviews for peers
Ensure close communication with the team and the client

Your Competencies

5+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java technologies
Solid understanding of Java design patterns
Experience with RESTful/SOAP services
Good working experience with Eclipse/IntelliJ
Experience with Hibernate/JPA
Experience with Maven/Gradle
Good database knowledge
Proactive and problem-solving attitude
Ability to coach and lead junior colleagues
Advanced English skill
