Senior QA Manual Engineer

We are looking to add a Senior QA Manual Engineer to our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating a test strategy, writing test cases, executing them, and eventually finding and reporting bugs. You should have a keen eye for detail, analysis, and excellent communication skills. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work correctly.

This will be a dynamic environment, where you have the chance to participate throughout the complete software testing lifecycle, and to focus on software quality through peer reviews, refactoring, continuous integration and deployment.

You will be part of our Software Testing team and will connect with software engineers and leaders from our client in the US and Ireland.

Your Responsibilities

Provide project high-level analysis and planning during the project lifecycle
Decide the testing strategy, adapted to different contexts
Design and execute test cases for products/components
Estimate testing activities
Perform functional and non-functional testing
Investigate and report defects and identify root causes
Creating QA reports for project stakeholders
Measure project progress using different KPIs and metrics
Provide daily project updates
Communicate efficiently with all project stakeholders

Your Competencies

Solid understanding of design patterns
Experience with Agile methodology
Solid experience with API testing
Good command of English
Experience with Groceries eCommerce is a plus

The platform is built from the ground up on MACH principles and deployed on Kubernetes in Google Cloud. We leverage Microsoft .NET Core to build Microservices leveraging Mass Transit, Rabbit MQ, Pub/Sub, Docker and persistent stores including Event Store, Elastic, Mongo, Redis supporting high-scale customers.

THE PROJECT

Project teams are working for building the next generation of eCommerce solutions for our customers.

You will work within an agile team to design and build microservices for our market-leading eCommerce platform for grocery solutions.

This role will require you to be a key member of a multi-disciplinary agile team throughout the delivery process in a fast-paced environment.
