Mid Front-End Developers

Fortech is looking to add two mid-level Front-End Developers to its team in Cluj-Napoca.

This will be a dynamic environment, where you have the chance to participate throughout the complete software development lifecycle, including design decisions, and to focus on software quality through peer reviews, refactoring, continuous integration and deployment.

You will be part of our Front-End team in Cluj-Napoca and will connect with software engineers and leaders from our client in Germany.

Your Responsibilities

Development of new features
Migration of existing code to new technologies
Analysis and design
Code refactoring

Your Competencies

Proficient with the JavaScript language and its modern ES6+ syntax and features
Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 (including SASS or LESS)
Knowledge of functional programming and object-oriented programming paradigms
Vue.js framework (including components, reactivity, virtual DOM etc.)
Vue.js ecosystem (including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router, Nuxt.js etc.)
Familiarity with automated JavaScript testing, specifical frameworks like Jest or Mocha
Server-side rendering and its benefits and use cases
Consuming and designing RESTful APIs
Proficiency with modern development tools, like Babel, Webpack, and Git
Good command of English

THE PROJECT

The application is a single-page web client written in AngularJS 1 (and there’s a migration planned to Vue.js), making use of REST API calls to the backend for data retrieval. Specifically, a search module that allows better filtering of the cars available in the Car Dealership. The result is the best match for the client’s needs.
