On its 15 Anniversary, Fortech Opens Office in Chicago

  • Fortech expands its footprint with a new sales and consultancy hub in Chicago, in support of its U.S. clients, that account for about 45% of the company’s commercial portfolio.
  • The office is located in downtown Chicago, in 300 LaSalle N. and is a destination for Fortech and clients to investigate and advance their technological innovation agenda.

 

Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and Chicago, U.S.; May 2019 – Fortech – one of the largest Romanian-owned IT services companies, repeatedly recognized by Deloitte and EY – today announced the opening of its flagship sales and consultancy office in the U.S., in downtown Chicago on River North. With this step, the company widens its scope of fueling growth for U.S. targets, through a combination of business acumen and technology services well aligned with the local market needs.

New Office Reaffirms Long-Term Commitment

Furthering its commitment to being a reliable software development provider for U.S. companies, Fortech launches its first sales and consultancy hub for the U.S. market in Chicago’s architectural icon 300 N LaSalle. The investment is an indication that Fortech is a vetted choice for U.S businesses who are looking to unlock the value of applied technology.

About 45% of our portfolio is comprised of US clients. New Office Broadens Business Scope and Offering

Located on the bank of the Chicago River, Fortech’s hub is going to be home to a multidisciplinary team of the company’s technology architects, consultants or client executives, who rotate on the ground to work with U.S. clients and prospects on all things digital.

Hence, we employ a consultative approach accompanying the client in their software buying process and through the software development lifecycle. The new hub becomes part of a delivery network comprised of 700 software engineers, distributed across four offices, located in Romania, Fortech’s founding country. With headquarters in Cluj Napoca, and regional offices across the country in Iasi, Oradea, and Brasov, with the latest going operational in April 2019, the company reaches more than 200 clients worldwide. The Chicago hub will work in close cooperation with the larger organization from Romania.
