Gheorghe Manzat

Director of R&D Department

Gheorghe Manzat started his career as a software developer using different technologies (.NET, Cobol, Java, Angular, React) and gradually moved up to the technical manager position.

He worked as Software Development Manager in the financial industry (credit, payments, security) and managed project portfolios and development teams, with a focus also on competence center’s startup. He joined Fortech in 2019 and is leading the Research & Development department. Gheorghe manages the project teams focusing on technical research, MVPs, and “Product-as-a-Service” delivery.

Gheorghe holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Automatics and Information Technologies from the Technical University of Moldova, where he has worked as an engineer and research assistant.
